London Tech Week 2026 brought together founders, CTOs, and technology leaders to discuss the future of business technology. While AI and automation were major talking points, one challenge surfaced repeatedly in our conversations at the TurboSoft stand.

Businesses aren't looking for more software. They're looking for ways to make the software they already have work better together.

Over three days, we spoke with more than 100 business leaders across a range of industries. Despite their different sectors and business models, many shared similar operational challenges. Powerful systems were already in place, but they weren't connected, making everyday processes slower, more complex, and more expensive than they needed to be.

The Common Challenges We Heard

Three themes stood out throughout the event.

Disconnected Systems

Many organisations have invested in best-in-class tools for CRM, finance, operations, and customer service. Individually, these platforms perform well, but without proper integration, teams often end up switching between systems, duplicating work, and relying on manual processes to fill the gaps.

Data Silos

When information is spread across multiple platforms, getting a complete view of customers or business performance becomes difficult. Leaders want reliable, real-time data that supports better decisions, rather than spending valuable time piecing information together.

Manual Workarounds

One of the biggest frustrations we heard was how much time is still spent on repetitive administrative tasks. Re-entering data, updating multiple systems, and managing spreadsheets may seem like minor inconveniences, but collectively they reduce productivity and increase the risk of errors.

Why Integration Matters More Than Ever

As businesses continue investing in AI, automation, and digital transformation, integration is becoming the foundation that makes those investments worthwhile. Connected systems improve efficiency, provide greater visibility, and allow teams to focus on higher-value work instead of routine administration.

What stood out wasn't a demand for new technology. It was a desire to get more value from existing technology. They need systems that communicate seamlessly, data that flows effortlessly, and processes that support growth instead of slowing it down.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand to share their experiences and insights. The conversations were thoughtful, honest, and a reminder that while every business is unique, many face the same operational challenges.

The future of digital transformation isn't just about adopting new technology, it's about making the technology you already have work smarter together.
